As Project Executive for BOND’s Providence, Rhode Island office, Kim has more than 20 years of construction industry experience with a strong focus on the strategic planning and management of healthcare projects. Prior to joining BOND, she worked for Care New England (CNE) Health System in Providence. Her roles included: Director of Space Planning and Construction for Women & Infant’s Hospital and Director of Facility Development and Project Management for the entire CNE system.
Kim’s experience leading more than 260 CNE projects – worth in excess of $123 million – gives her a valuable owner’s perspective to BOND’s healthcare projects. Kim’s professional background also includes nine years as a project manager for Dimeo Construction. She has strong leadership and management expertise in space planning, preconstruction, logistics, phasing and project organization.
Kim is a graduate of Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, as well as being an American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Constructor. She is the former Secretary of the Rhode Island Healthcare Engineers Society (RIHES) and continues an active involvement in that organization along with the New England Healthcare Engineers Society (NEHES).
Kim is a life-long resident of Rhode Island with a passion for traveling and exploring the world. She and her husband plan to visit every state within the U.S along with several countries in Europe, including Greece, Australia and Iceland. She loves nature and the outdoors, which includes camping, going on long walks with her two rescued greyhounds and working in her extensive flower gardens.
She is creative and loves to make handcrafts such as needlework, jewelry, floral wreaths and arrangements, custom furniture and stained glass windows. She enjoys antiquing and makes a trip every fall to Maine to visit the antique shops along Route 1 and nearby craft shows. She currently resides in the scenic and rural town of North Smithfield, RI.
