BOND to Break Ground on Lynn Community Health Center Expansion
The Lynn Community Health Center will break ground on a 29,300 square-foot construction project, built by BOND construction in Everett, to expand healthcare services in Lynn.
The facility has seen growth in the number of patient needing services, receiving an average of 400 new patients each month. This expansion will enable the Health Center to expand urgent care, behavioral health, laboratory, and radiology services; hire additional primary care provides; centralize registration to provide more accessible and efficient assistance to patients; and build a second-story shell that will enable future development, according to a statement.
The expansion project is the first new construction in Lynn's Central Business District in many years, the company said. More than 100 jobs will be created, both in construction of the new facility, and in permanent healthcare jobs in the community.
