Thomas C. Baillie, P.E. Secretary and Vice President, Civil & Utility Division Tom Baillie serves as Vice President of BOND’s Civil & Utility Division, where he oversees all aspects of BOND’s C&U operations, guiding the division through a range of complex and prestigious projects. He joined BOND in 1994 as a project manager, and also worked as a chief estimator before being named to his current position. While at BOND, Baillie has overseen projects that include the redevelopment of Logan Airport’s Terminal A, transmission projects for NSTAR and Northeast Utilities, MBTA modernization work, and projects related to Boston’s Central Artery Tunnel. Tom is a Registered Construction Engineer, Professional Engineer, Land Surveyor, and Construction Supervisor. From 1980 to 1986, he served as a heavy equipment operator for the Massachusetts National Guard and US Army. He’s a member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Society of American Military Engineers. Baillie received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Lowell. “I’ve worked for and alongside lots of different companies, and none of them share BOND’s reputation for responsiveness, outside-of-the-box thinking, and stopping at nothing to take care of clients. When we say we’re going to do something, we deliver – no ifs, ands, or buts about it – and that’s part of the reason I’ve been here for as long as I have. It’s a philosophy that’s a central part of the company, and its something that we’re always working to take to a higher level.” |
