As the fourth generation of family managing BOND, Edward Bond has over 30 years experience in the construction business and is highly respected as a leader in the industry. The company has grown steadily since Bond assumed the role of CEO in 1984, and today boasts extensive portfolios in education, healthcare, commercial and civil & utility work. Some of the major projects completed by the company under Bond’s leadership include 500 Boylston Street, 360 Newbury Street, and the Hynes Convention Center.

In 2008, Bond received the prestigious Distinguished Service Award from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), recognizing his long-term contributions to the construction industry. He served on the board of CMAA’s New England chapter, is a trustee at Wentworth Institute of Technology, a member of the Boston Society of Architects, Massachusetts Building Congress, and the Society for the Advancement of Consulting, among other organizations. Bond also is the immediate past Chair of the Board of Trustees at New England College and currently a trustee of St. John’s Prep in Danvers, MA. He is a past Malcolm Baldridge Quality Examiner, a Certified Construction Manager, a Fellow (and past National President) of the Society of Marketing Professional Services, and an instrument-rated pilot.

Bond received a BA from New England College, an MBA from New Hampshire College, a Masters of Education from Cambridge College, and is an alumnus of the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School and the Advanced Management Development Program at Harvard Graduate School of Design. From 1978 to 1982, he served as president of New England Utility Constructors, which provides construction services for civil and utility projects throughout New England.
