Description:
Harvard University’s Allston Development Group (ADG) selected BOND as an “on call services” contractor, working on the expansion of campus in Allston. Our crews completed various projects required to prepare construction sites. In many cases our manager worked with Harvard’s engineering teams to help develop projects to replace sidewalks, relocate underground utilities, install sound barrier structures, and construct athletic fields.
Challenge/Situation:
We were asked to work fluidly and on a flexible schedule, to respond accordingly without defined scope.
Solution/Action:
Our managers set up on site to initiate daily communication with ADG managers, engineering teams, and field crews.
Benefit/Result:
Our team worked as an extension to the ADG managers, enabling the project to move forward efficiently and on a fast track schedule.
